This is the South Australian Government-approved course for mandatory notifiers under the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017. This course has replaced the prior Child Safe Environments course, and any current Child Safe Environments certifications you possess are still valid.
Training provider - "Safe Place Training" is a preferred supplier of Safe Environments for Children and Young People - 'Through Their Eyes' for the Department of Human Services.

Dates and Times are Fixed
Once you have registered and paid, your FAN will be listed in the Group you have selected.
This CAN NOT be changed.
We are unable to provide additional training sessions beyond what is listed. Should you wish to schedule alternative training, please contact the Training Provider direct to organise.
Refunds
Due to the discounted cost of training, we are unable to provide refunds. If you are unable to attend, you can find someone to take your spot and sell them your ticket. The Training Provider limits groups to 20 and FUSWA must reach this to receive this discount. No refunds!
If you have paid, but the group is fully booked, you will be provided a refund or can be placed on a wait list for another session if available.
Confirmation of Session
Once you have registered your interest and paid the training fee, your FAN will be listed above as confirmation of your spot.
Students will be listed on a first pay, first served basis, meaning, payment date and time will be used towards confirmation. We will make all endeavors to keep this list up to date on a daily basis.
Group Fully Booked
We may be able to provide an additional Group and you can Register in the Wait List. But, this is subject to attendee numbers and the Training Providers schedule availability. This is NOT guaranteed training. If a group is fully booked, and you have already paid but missed out, a refund will be provided to you.
Responding to Student Emails
The FUSWA Team are students and do not have the time to respond to emails with questions that have been answered on this page, or are available on the the Training Providers website. Before sending an email, read ALL information here and if you are unable to find an answer, then email the Team.

Certificates

Cancellations
Due to the discounted cost of training, we CANNOT cancel your registration. If you need to cancel your session, you can sell your ticket to another student and contact the Training Provider direct to arrange another time. If you sell your ticket, YOU must provide the full details of the student purchasing your session to FUSWA.
Unable to Attend?
It is your responsibility to attend the group session. If you be unable to attend, you can sell your spot to another student (refer to Cancellations) and either contact the Training Provider to arrange your individual training, or find an alternative training provider to complete your training. FUSWA is unable to recommend alternative providers at this time.
Wait List
FUSWA may be able to provide an additional Group, and you may wish to be placed on a Wait List. But, this is subject to attendee numbers and the Training Providers schedule availability.
This is NOT guaranteed training.
Training Delivery
Online (webinar) training is provided by the Training Provider. The organisation uses the Zoom platform to deliver training.
You will need Connection to internet , PC or device with microphone and speakers.
Please do not use phones as the screen is too small.
You may also need to print a document for the webinar.

Payments
To confirm your spot, payment is required. You MUST use your student FAN as your Reference. We are unable to cross check your registration against your payment if you do not use your student FAN when payment is made.
A booking fee will be charged for no shows as per the Training Providers Policy. You will not receive a refund if you do not attend. Ref to their website for details.
