HISTORY WORLD SOCIAL WORK DAY
World Social Work Day is a celebration that aims to highlight the achievements of social work, to raise the visibility of social services for the future of societies, and to defend social justice and human rights.
AUSTRALIAN ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL WORKERS (AASW)
The theme for World Social Work Day in 2023 is Respecting Diversity Through Joint Social Action. World Social Work Day is held on the third Tuesday of March each year, this year falling on Tuesday, 21 March 2023.
It's the day that we celebrate the social work profession and promote the vital work of social workers to the Australian community, and globally.
