As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to take this time to remind you of some of the support services that are available to you and what they can help with.

Grades and resultsIf you have questions about your grades or results, please contact courseadvice.epsw@flinders.edu.au in the first instance and then your query will be triaged to the appropriate staff member. 

General student administration enquiriesFlinders Connect is your first point of call for queries relating to your student administration. This includes your enrolment, credit transfers, finances, examinations, graduation and taking a leave of absence. You can find their contact details and opening hours here. 

Enrolment SupportOur Enrolment Support services are available virtually, over the phone, and online via AskFlinders. Assistance with enrolment and class registration is available on 1300 354 633 (option 2) during business hours or by submitting a support request via AskFlinders (24/7). 

Flinders Connect is unable to offer specialised course advice. If you are unsure which topics to enrol in or need assistance with your study plan, please contact courseadvice.epsw@flinders.edu.au or (08) 8201 7800. 

Flinders University Social Work Association (FUSWA)FUSWA is the Flinders University Student Association (FUSA) student run and led academic association for all social work students. FUSWA is available to support Social Work students through a variety of ways to assist with student needs and connectivity, including providing direct assistance to students who are experiencing issues, challenges or concerns with their studies. As FUSWA officers are all students, they cannot provide direct representation for you in discussions but can also liaise with college staff with you and assist in finding the right person within the university to assist you. In addition to this, they provide educational activities, inclusive social events, health and well-being awareness and social development programs. Their online resources have a variety of helpful solutions, study guides and industry related information to assist you with your studies. You can also email the FUSWA team at fuswa.team@gmail.com.  

There are also many other support services available, which you can explore on the Support and Services Directory. These include specific services for international students, academic assistance and career guidance. If you cannot find the service that you are looking for and wish to seek guidance about the right pathway, please contact epswenquiries@flinders.edu.au  within the College or FUSWA. 

A reminder that the University will close at 1.00pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 and reopen on Thursday 2 January 2025. The Flinders Security team will be available 24 hours a day to assist with any emergencies or safety threats. For assistance, please call campus security on 8201 2880. If it’s an emergency, please call triple zero (000).
