FUSWA are excited to announce the launch of our new Discord Chat.

During these challenging times, we felt it important to provide Flinders Social Work Students the ability to not only messenger chat with each other about topics and matters that interest them, but also provide a great channel for voice and video chat as well.

The Flinders University Social Work Students (FUSWA) Discord Server, provide students the ability to communicate with voice calls to reach out to each other, video calls for study groups, normal text messaging, and the opportunity to upload media, and topic related files from external sources.

As each new semester begins, we found that students are creating Facebook Messenger chats for topics. Whilst this is a good way of exchanging information, the information shared is always lost, and we believe what you share is valuable, and needs to be retained for emerging students heading into their new semester. So, the Team here at FUSWA made sure that you have channels dedicated to semester topics by year, across Bachelors, Masters, and Honours Degrees, regardless of whether you're an on campus, external or an international student. This way, you will have a history filled with rich information that you can scroll back on, which may in fact answer many of the same questions that arise every semester.
